What is Self Healing?
Self healing is a holistic approach that involves all aspects of life. This includes body, mind, and emotions. It also includes spiritual healing.The nine experts and six older adults interviewed discussed four main themes related to self-healing. The physiology theme included lifestyle, exercise, healthy sleep and eating habits, and illness control.Emotional WoundsA person’s emotional wounds can cause pain, anger, resentment, depression and anxiety. It is important to recognize and acknowledge these wounds in order to start the healing process. Emotional wounds can come from a variety of things, such as traumatic events, loss of a loved one, abuse, neglect and
