BioSpiritual Being -ness and The Sovereign Integral

Do you know who you are…really? Have you pondered the question - Who am I? Behind the labels of your name or occupation, your gender, societal roles or ancestry, what is the true essence of “you”? Perhaps you can answer this question to your satisfaction, maybe not. But if you are curious to know, then tell me – just how far down the rabbit hole are you willing to go in search of an answer? Trust me, it goes deep.

For example, Dr. Leonard Horowitz, author of several books including Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse, would answer the question by explaining that “you are a digital, bio-holographic, precipitation, crystallization, miraculous manifestation of Divine frequency vibration coming out of water.”

Although a correct definition as far as it goes, rather than giving clarity and insight - this elaborate mouthful of words simply mystifies further if you’re not familiar with his material. So let’s approach this question from another perspective.

You Are a BioSpiritual Being

Perhaps you’ve heard somewhere that “you are a spiritual being having a physical experience.” In essence – you are a multi-dimensional, BioSpiritual Being – a soul/consciousness who perceives experiences through multiple bodies.

I've discussed the topic of multi-dimensional reality in Holistic Health and Biospirituality, as well as in the two Metaphysics of Biospirituality articles in some detail. However, while explaining the concept of multiple bodies, these articles focus more on the mechanics of healing and communication pathways between the bodies.

For an interesting discussion of multi-dimensional biospirituality that focuses more on aspects of being -ness though, I'd recommend visiting Peace Portal. (Alas, peaceportal.mobi did not exist last time I checked. What a shame. Perhaps it'll return)

This excellent website includes a series of articles exploring the premise that there are five bodies or relative aspects of self - the mental body, the physical body and the soul body (sometimes referred to as a spiritual body)- which is essentially congruent with my understanding. What's intriguing about this model however is that it recognizes two additional bodies at this stage of our social and consciousness evolution - a legal body and even a digital body.

The subject of multiple bodies and multi-dimensional being-ness is extensive and potentially can expand thresholds of perception. The premise of this model of the five bodies of biospiritual existence is very useful and worth spending some time with. It can serve as a functional tool for understanding and operating within today's “reality” of shifting perceptions.

You Are The Sovereign Integral

Traveling a little further down the rabbit hole we learn that the core essence of who you truly are has been defined as the “Sovereign Integral” by James, the anonymous creator of the Wingmakers website. The details would take much more space than this article allows to explain something as vast as the Sovereign Integral - mainly because this concept exists within a larger context.

However, briefly, “the individualized human being, free of the HMS, [Human Mind System] is called the Sovereign Integral…This is the true identity of each and every human being. In this model of the Sovereign Integral, we are Gods of our local multiverse, and collectively, we are First Source in the multiverse.” - The Sovereign Integral from James’ Interview with Project Camelot.

To explore the realm of the Sovereign Integral is a potentially life changing quest. Should you feel so inclined, begin by visiting Project Camelot’s website where you can download a PDF of Project Camelot’s interview with James.

If you’re willing to dive even deeper down the rabbit hole…

Consider doing this – instead of seeking answers to existential questions outside yourself, find them within. Spiritual wisdom through the ages has taught that all the answers we seek we already know. However, social conditioning trains us to doubt our own innate wisdom and seek external validation and knowledge.

Numerous methods have been used to access the wisdom that resides within us all. One method called spiritual autolysis is described by Jed Mckenna in his book – Spiritual Enlightenment, The Damnedest Thing. Essentially, the goal of this process is to write the Truth.

“Sounds simple, doesn’t it? Yes, that’s all there is to it. Just write down what you know is true, or what you think is true, and keep writing until you’ve come up with something that is true.”

“There are three hundred and sixty degrees in a circle, ” says Arthur.

“Sure. ” I agree. “Start with something as seemingly indisputable as that, and then start examining the foundation upon which that statement is built and just keep following it down until you’ve reached bedrock, something solid, true. ”

“There aren’t three hundred and sixty degrees in a circle? ” he asks.

“The question presupposes that there’s a circle. ”

“There’s not a circle? ”

“Maybe. I don’t know. Is there? ”

“Well, if I draw a circle –”

“I? When did you confirm the existence of an I? Draw? Have you already raced past the part where you confirmed that you are a separate physical being in a universe with the ability to perceive, to draw? Have you already confirmed time as true? Causality? Duality? ”

Arthur is thoughtful and silent for several moments. “I guess that’s what you mean by following it down. This is very confusing. I don’t even know where to start. ”

“It doesn’t matter where you start. You could start by using Ramana Maharshi’s query, ‘Who am I?’ or ‘What is me?’, and then just work at it. Just try to say something true and keep at it until you do. ”

- pages 58-59 Spiritual Enlightenment, The Damnedest Thing

Well, you get the idea. The rabbit hole is deep indeed. It’s no wonder many spiritual seekers spend years contemplating this one question alone. In McKenna’s case, he says it took him an agonizing couple of years to burn away every layer of illusion until he arrived at his own answer.

Here’s a clue – who you are cannot ever be fully known by the mind/brain because it only understands concepts, details. The heart knows Truth.

For the purposes of this article, let’s climb out of the deepest depths of the rabbit hole and present a relative answer we can use in moving forward to the next question of why we are here. At your convenience, you can always go back and explore the various websites listed above or embark on the soul-burning journey of spiritual autolysis.

Who Are You?

You are a BioSpiritual Being - a soul/consciousness who perceives experiences. As such, you:

  • Are an infinitely powerful, wise and abundant being!
  • Have an unlimited desire and ability to play and express yourself co-creatively
  • Are a self-organizing system – an energy field with an inherent purpose for existing

How do you relate this to your daily life? On a practical level - whatever that "inherent purpose for existing" happens to be, it is revealed when you truly know who you are.
