What is Spiritual Energy?

Spiritual Energy

Spiritual Energy is the life force within you that energizes your soul. It is the source of great love, deep compassion, and your greatest creativity.

You have this energy if there is balance between caring for others and caring for yourself. It also flows when you turn your values into actions in service to something larger than yourself.

1. Peace

Spiritual Energy is a force that manifests at multiple levels. At the social level, peace relates to a stable state based on mutual respect and a commitment to fairness.

At the individual level, peace refers to personal inner harmony and tranquility resulting from a spiritual connection to something greater than oneself. People with high spiritual energy feel a strong bond to the universe and tend to be more peaceful than those without it.

Meditation and time spent in nature are excellent ways to boost spiritual energy. Exposing yourself to positive media is also helpful. Just be sure to limit your exposure to violent news broadcasts and video games, which can drain the body’s energy. You can also practice protecting your energy by avoiding toxic people and environments.

2. Love

Spiritual energy brings a sense of peace, happiness, integrity and purpose to your life. It makes you feel more integrated and wholesome.

Love can be experienced in different ways, for example, in appreciation, gratitude, patience, the awe of Life or contentment. Each of these experiences feels like a different kind of energy, but in reality they are all facets of one energy: love.

The more agape (love for others) is present in your life, the more you are able to overcome negativity and keep your inner calm in times of stress. This can be achieved by practicing mindfulness. This is when you are fully aware of your body, breath and thoughts without identifying with them. The practice of mindfulness also makes your love for others stronger.

3. Happiness

Spiritual energy makes you more satisfied with your life and able to cope with adversity. It also makes you optimistic and courageous, and it helps you forgive more easily.

Many people think of happiness in terms of mood, and it’s common to hear about someone being “high energy” or having “low energy.” In spiritual circles, however, these concepts have a different meaning.

Happiness has to do with your ability to identify a purpose that’s bigger than yourself, and it comes from having the belief that something greater is at work. That’s why a religious orientation is associated with higher levels of happiness. It’s also why people who practice meditation and other spiritual practices are happier than those who don’t. The research on this is growing rapidly.

4. Integrity

For millennia, ancient spiritual practices have talked about harnessing a power that is so great it can alter one’s destiny. This energy has been referred to as Chi, Qi, Prana and Mana and is sometimes associated with the supernatural.

Integrity refers to the extent to which a person’s desires, commitments and values are consistently expressed in his or her words and actions. Hypocrisy is the opposite of integrity; it means pretending to believe or value something that a person does not believe or value in reality.

Spiritually energized people have been shown to act more morally consistent than others. However, this doesn’t mean that they don’t occasionally fall short of the mark. That is why a strong sense of personal integrity is a lifelong journey.

5. Purpose

Spiritual energy gives you a sense of interconnectedness and oneness. This type of energy also provides a deeply-rooted, authentic set of life aims that guides your behavior and gives meaning to your existence. It also creates a feeling of joy, bliss, love, and light in your life.

People with spiritual energy are more likely to find success in their lives than people without it. This is because they are more optimistic and courageous, and they are able to forgive more easily. They are also more likely to do favors for their friends and co-workers.

Getting spiritual energy requires commitment and consistency in your spiritual practice. Over time, you will develop a reservoir of energy that can keep you going in even the most difficult situations.
