4 Types of Self-Healing

self healing

Self healing isn’t a linear upward climb. You’ll likely have some dips down, but over time you can expect the dips to become less frequent.

Hardware level self-healing redeploys services to healthy nodes and conducts health checks. There are also software-based solutions that monitor performance and provide recommendations for improvements.

Physical

Developing a relationship with your body is the foundation of physical self healing. Learning to respect it as the temple that it is, and allowing yourself to nourish it with the things that you need most. This includes identifying what it is that triggers you, but also being willing to let go of those triggers when they arise.

Ancient teachings and modern science increasingly agree that your mind, body and emotions are one integrated system. This means that whatever impact you have on one part of the system, it will affect the whole system.

For example, if you are struggling with anxiety in social situations, try channeling your energy and imagining yourself in a situation that is more calming for you. Practicing this technique for even just a few minutes can have a powerful impact. It will help to change the way you react to the trigger and can shift your entire experience of that particular situation.

Mental

Your mind is an integral part of your overall wellness, and self healing starts with a healthy one. Meditation, visualization, and positive affirmations are just a few ways you can heal your mental state.

Ancient teachings and modern science increasingly concur that the body, thoughts, and emotions are all one integrated system. Influencing one aspect of your health can have extraordinary consequences for the others.

Deep relaxation is one of the most effective ways to heal your mental and emotional health. It reduces stress, boosts the immune system and helps control pain. Practicing it can be as simple as finding a quiet place to regulate your breathing and talk to yourself. Practicing it several times a day will help you feel more relaxed and healthy. It can even make you more resilient to physical pain and illness.

Emotional

Emotional self healing is the process of identifying and exploring your negative feelings like sadness, anger or guilt. It also includes learning coping skills to resolve these emotional wounds. It is a journey that helps you get to know yourself on a deeper level and learns to deal with life’s challenges better.

A person who is emotionally wounded will have trouble expressing their feelings and will often resort to unhealthy ways of dealing with them. This could include overreacting to petty situations or holding grudges. It can also result in a lack of motivation and low self-esteem.

Emotional healing involves recognizing and acknowledging the trauma, allowing yourself to feel the pain, and embracing your healing journey. In addition, it involves regaining trust and confidence in yourself. Lastly, it requires forgiving yourself and others. This process of self healing can be very exhausting and requires patience. Just as you would take time to rest a strained muscle, you must allow yourself time and space for emotional healing.

Spiritual

Spiritual self healing focuses on finding out who you are at a soul level. This is the foundation for everything that you want in life such as a loving relationship, peace of mind, financial freedom and sincere friendships.

Many people find that their ailments have a spiritual root cause that needs to be addressed. Whether it is a lack of trust, fear, or unresolved issues from the past.

The best way to do this is by meditating, visualizing and learning about the power of the subconscious mind. Taking the time to learn deep relaxation, and doing it for ten or twenty minutes several times a day, will help you rebalance your system. This is a powerful antidote to stress, which is a major contributor to most diseases. A qualitative study using grounded theory method has shown that spiritual coping strategies are widely used by patients facing serious disease. This includes spiritual healing and praying. (1).
