Spiritual Energy is the vital life force that connects us to our souls and enables us to become fully alive. This energy is a key component to our evolution as divine beings.
We can access and recharge our spiritual energy through meditation, grounding exercises (imagine your feet growing roots into the earth) and by noticing our perceptual reality.
Spirituality
If you’ve been around spirituality in any way, then you have probably heard of the concept of energy. It powers the lights in your house, there’s kinetic and potential energy, and energy is behind everything that exists (thanks to Einstein’s E = mc squared).
When spiritual writers talk about energy, they usually mean one of two things. First, they’re talking about a palpable goodness that comes from their heart and seems to radiate outwards. This is often paired with a sense of selflessness and a lack of concern with status, fame, and ego.
Secondly, when spiritual writers are talking about energy, they’re also discussing the state of being called “flow.” This is a highly creative, focused state that’s associated with activities like art, music, meditation, and yoga. Flow is linked to an elevated level of wellness that can be measured and quantified by researchers. This type of wellness is known as Spiritual Energy. It’s the energy that allows us to be fully alive.
Meditation
Spiritual energy is a gift from the universe that we can cultivate through various practices, including meditation. This practice can help us feel more connected to our higher self, increase the flow of positive energy, and find a deeper sense of purpose.
In addition to promoting overall well-being, meditation has been linked to improved memory and concentration, reduced stress levels, and increased brain volume and grey matter. It can also lower blood pressure, heart rate, cholesterol and the build-up of plaque in coronary arteries.
To meditate, find a quiet, comfortable place and close your eyes. Focus on your breath and imagine that you are inhaling pure, positive energy and exhaling any tension or negativity. You can also visualize a light above your head, representing your higher self or divine consciousness, and imagine that this light is descending and enveloping you with love, peace, and wisdom. Practice regularly to experience the benefits.
Prayer
Prayer is a moment of connection and communication with God. This can be a time of thanking Him, praising Him, confessing something you have done wrong or expressing a need you have.
Participants in prayer studies often report having mystical experiences involving feelings of expansion (including conscious awareness leaving the body), energy rising up the spine or a sense of being enveloped by light or love. These experiences can be triggered by intense meditation or prayer.
Choose a power word that feels right for you and repeat it silently in your mind. Let it’s vibrations reverberate through your entire body, aura and soul energy system. This energy exchange will re-energize and refresh you in a matter of moments. This is the kind of power our ancestors used for millennia to complete their divine purpose or dharma. They called it Qi, Ki, Prana, Mana and many other names, but they all talked about a force that was so great, it could change a person’s destiny.
Yoga
Spiritual energy can be accessed through practices such as yoga, chanting, and pranayama. These techniques help to align the body, mind, and spirit, fostering inner harmony and growth.
The key to accessing your spiritual energy is in recognizing that the information that defines who you are, whether it be who you love or dislike, what you have done or have not done, should not determine how you feel and experience life right now. If it does, you are stuck in the past.
Spiritual energy is your connection to the world around you. Every object and living thing holds energy, and when you tap into that collective energy, you can instantly recharge yourself. You can also increase your level of spiritual energy through mindfulness meditation and other techniques such as directing awareness to an attended area. For example, if you direct your awareness to your thumb, it will become measurably warmer as blood vessels open up to bring more energy to that area.
