Spiritual Energy – The Ethereal Foundation of Everything

Spiritual Energy is the ethereal foundation of everything. Everything we do, say and feel is a manifestation of this energy.

It’s known as Qi, Prana and Pneuma in other traditions. Just like gravity, this energy is invisible to the eye until you know how to look for it. It’s also incredibly powerful!

It’s a Force

Like electromagnetic waves, radiowaves, and soundwaves, spiritual energy is also a force that exists in our universe. However, unlike those waves that are measurable and can be tested, spiritual energy is not a measurable or observable phenomenon. Hence, it does not fall under the scientific method and cannot be interrogated by scientists.

Instead, it is a concept that has been explored by countless ancient spiritual traditions under different names. In Chinese philosophy and medicine, it is known as qi; in yogic meditation and practice, it is called prana. Moreover, psychological researchers such as Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi have referred to it as a state of flow.

This concept encapsulates unseen energies that influence life, including moral principles that guide behavior, teachings of spiritual leaders, and the power of interconnectedness of creation. These energies can manifest and help achieve a person’s divine purpose or dharma. Moreover, it can be used to enhance one’s personal growth and inner work.

It’s a Feeling

Like the electromagnetic waves that send radiowaves, microwaves and soundwaves throughout the physical space, spiritual energy (also known as soul energy) flows within and around your body. Your body’s spiritual energy system gives you the ability to feel and intuit everything and everyone that you come into contact with.

Whether it comes from a person, an event or some random occurrence that changes your perspective of life, your experience with spiritual energy will leave you feeling that something is different. Often, it is the same sensation that you get when you see an incredible piece of art or music or you connect with someone at the perfect time in your life and you realize that their words speak to your heart.

It may feel like a rush of heat or light that rises up your spine or is felt in the crown chakra. Other sensations include a sense of love that is felt deeply in the heart chakra; a feeling of being energized, awakened and connected to mystical realms of consciousness; or creative energy that feels like a scream through your gut to be expressed.

It’s a Mindset

If you’re a spiritual person, you likely believe that the Universe is a source of energy and that everything is connected. You might have a religious or non-religious approach to connecting with that energy, but regardless of your beliefs, research suggests that it’s good for your health.

Spiritual energy can be felt in the physical world when you express kindness and compassion to others. It can also be experienced in the form of a feeling of well-being, peace, and joy that you get from practicing meditation or a mindfulness practice. This feeling increases when you serve and contribute to your community.

The best way to tap into your spiritual energy is to develop a spiritual growth mindset. This is a process of up leveling and alchemy that involves mindfully directing your thoughts and being aware of Universal laws, such as the Law of Attraction and the Law of Karma. When you do this on a daily basis, it’s the foundation for your soul’s growth and personal development.

It’s a Habit

Spiritual energy requires a life-long commitment to practice. Whether it’s daily meditation, a weekly prayer group, or incorporating physical fitness into work-life balance, unwavering consistency is key. This creates a sacred space where the spiritual connection can flourish, resulting in profound shifts in consciousness over time.

Spiritual growth is a journey that defines one’s true values and deep sense of purpose, as well as a profound sense of connectedness to something greater than themselves. It involves establishing effective rituals for energy replenishment, self-examination and embracing a positive mindset.

Spending time in nature is a wonderful way to recharge your spiritual energy. Limiting pointless media and violent or anxious content will also help to clear your field. Finally, establishing positive rituals like journaling or a gratitude practice before bed can provide a powerful boost to your spiritual hygiene.
