You probably know about energy from a scientific perspective: there’s kinetic energy, electrical energy and more. But did you know that you have spiritual energy?
This type of energy is cultivated through mindfulness and meditation. It’s often referred to as qi, ki or prana. It allows us to live our divine purpose or dharma.
1. Focus
Energy powers your lights, and it is the underlying force behind all matter (E=mc2). So, what is spiritual energy?
Spiritual Energy is the force that pulls us towards things we love, and away from the things that don’t. It is the force that gives purpose and meaning to life.
People with high spiritual energy feel a sense of joy, bliss, love and light that permeates every aspect of their lives. They see interconnectedness and Oneness in all things. They have powerful goals across seven key areas of their lives: Family & Relationships, Career and Work, Money & Finances, Health & Wellbeing, Learning & Education and Fun & Adventure. This energy is generated by loving and accepting yourself as you are. The universe can only flow through an accepting conduit.
2. Concentration
Concentration, dharana in Sanskrit, is one of the first spiritual energy practices. It requires you to be completely focused in all activities. It also helps you to relax, physically and mentally.
There is a lot of energy around you, in the world, and in every living thing. Using concentration, you can tap into this collective energy to recharge yourself and get your life back on track.
There are a lot of theories about spiritual energy. Some people describe it as feeling “high-energy” or having “low-energy.” Others talk about auras, which have been depicted in art and literature for thousands of years. Kirlian photography is another way that people have tried to prove the existence of this energy. Regardless of what you believe, there is evidence that this energy exists.
3. Joy
Joy is a powerful energy that can help to overcome stress. Joy is also one of the spiritual fruit that is a result of walking in the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Joy can be used as a weapon to combat negative thoughts like discouragement, despair or fear. Joy is the natural vibration that God gives you and can be accessed by simply believing it and expressing it.
It may feel difficult to stay oriented with joy because you are used to living in lower vibrational states most of the time. But you can gradually get used to the higher vibration by allowing it into your heart on a daily basis. Then, you will learn to live with joy even when things are tough. A joyful person quickly loves people, brings peace everywhere he goes and is patient with others.
4. Love
Love is the highest vibrational frequency that exists in the Universe. It is a spiritual energy that connects you with your soul essence.
When you are in a state of love, it creates a magnetic force that attracts positive people and situations into your life. It also shatters any negative emotions like shame, guilt, jealousy, and apathy.
If you are feeling low, expressing kindness and compassion towards others can help you boost your energy. This can be done through community building or simply by spending time with people who have a clear and loving energy.
You can even share a hug with someone who you know has a lot of spiritual energy. This can be an extremely powerful and healing experience. It can also help you strengthen your intuition.
5. Compassion
If you wish to achieve spiritual energy, compassion must be your guide. Compassion is kindness rooted in empathy for others. It allows you to see other people as real people who suffer and to feel their pain.
It also inspires you to act in ways that alleviate suffering. This can include donating money to help those in need or helping them physically. It can even extend to helping people you don’t like or who don’t reciprocate your help.
A self-report measure called the CS-P was developed to assess four core elements of compassion: recognizing suffering, feeling moved by it, understanding or imagining something about another person’s condition as a fellow human being and having motivation to act in order to reduce suffering. Its content validity was rated partially satisfactory.
