Hey Tim, thanks so much for the great information! Cinnamon essential oil is extremely powerful having a high ORAC value of 10,340. It's one of the oils in Thieves, an oil blend from Young Living. This is a very popular oil blend and has been incorporated into a line of antibacterial cleaning products because of its effectiveness. You can also safely ingest it if put into a gel cap and I?d add a drop or two of other ingestible oil with it ? I like to use primrose oil. I included this in a program to clear up a pesky bladder and kidney infection recently. Cinnamon oil is often used for cardiovascular disease, infectious diseases, viral infections etc. So it seems the oil does have similar properties to the plant material, i.e. fresh cinnamon powder. (this is not always the case).

Look for a forthcoming article specifically about raw honey soon.
