Relieve Stress with Ear Rubbing

An easy and effective way to relieve stress is by gently rubbing both your ears at the same time. You don’t have to use any special technique. Just rub both ears gently until all surfaces are covered. The main secret is to be thorough. You’ll find your body, mind and emotions relaxing and letting go. This works great on your partner, children and fur friends as well. Rub their ears for them as a thoughtful expression of your love.

To enhance this technique and achieve longer, deeper effects, rub 5 – 10 drops of one or a blend of the following essential oils into your hands before rubbing the ears.

  • Chamomile
  • Cedarwood
  • Lavender
  • Patchouli
  • Sweet Orange
  • Tangerine
  • Ylang ylang

Caution: Avoid direct sunlight or UV rays on your ears for up to 12 hours after applying Sweet Orange or 48 hours after applying Tangerine essential oils.
