Is a man who abucts children in Uganda to do slavery for him girls = sex slaves boys = army soldiers he has capture thousands of children in ugenda and forces them to do what he says you might say well y don’t they just not listen to him but those poor children are killed if they don’t listen to him the only way for him to be killed is if he becomes famous not for good but so the commubity understands that we care about those little kids send this to all of youre friends make kony known let him be punished for his dispickable crime! This was the text that greeted me upon waking at 7:00 a.m. on March 7th. Still a bit bleary-eyed and groggy from sleep, my first thought was that someone had texted me by mistake, as I discourage texting as a communication choice from most of my community. Then, I realized that it had come from my twelve year old granddaughter. And yes, I admit to a measure of relief when I also saw that this was a much-forwarded text and my granddaughter was not the actual author of this poorly written rant. (Like I said, not much in to texting, personally, for oh so many reasons).

I did not respond to the text immediately but made a mental note to research Kony 2012 that evening when I returned home. You see, the name “Kony” had not yet flashed on my own personal radar screen until that Wednesday morning when I received my granddaughter’s text message. But by the evening, not only were there blips all over the screen, indeed, a few red flags were waving as well.

If you’re wondering at this point, what ever does the Kony 2012 campaign have to do with the stated purpose of this web site and energy healing in general? Have a sip of chamomile tea and I’ll explain.

Vanilla is one of my favorite flavors! So versatile, I use it in my oatmeal, so many of my baking recipes and more. I even drip a couple drops in my morning latte for added depth and richness. No wonder I run out of it so frequently that I began making my own a couple of years ago.

Started a new batch of vanilla extract on Friday. Since I love giving it as gifts around the holiday season as well as using it in so many home made gift recipes, I'm making an extra large batch and it should be ready right about on time ~ takes about 4-6 weeks to make. Become what you will - a key concept for manifesting your chosen reality.

Better still - Be what you will!

Will/intend what you choose and practice becoming that choice. Wanting a thing or reality or ‘wishing it’ to be or even ‘moving toward it’, by definition and parameter, keeps the “it” ever out of reach of being.

Our job as incarnated soul is becoming very clear about what it is we choose being. By the way, stop using the word “to” as in “choose to be”. Rather, what are your choices of being, for being? The parameter of the word “to” also defines something as not-yet-being.

Practice reprogramming your thought patterns along these pathways of expression. This changes the blueprints for the emergence of your will/intention from the un-manifest (The Field).

As Mother Nature wakes from her long winter dreamings here in the Arizona mountains, I'm seeing signs that her creative juices are beginning to flow again. WhooHoo! Raucous red-headed woodpeckers chase the robins from the birdbath, and tiny bright green leaves peek from their winter herb beds in greeting as I step out my front door ~ precious muses, each and every one. Neotame is the latest version of Aspartame developed by Nutrasweet. However, whereas the alert, informed individual can choose to avoid purchasing products that contain Aspartame by simply reading the list of ingredients on the packaging, this will not be an option given to us with Neotame.

Why not you ask? Because it seems that “the food labeling requirements required for aspartame have now been dropped for Neotame, and no one is clear why this was allowed to happen. Neotame has been ruled acceptable, and without being included on the list of ingredients, for:

USDA Certified Organic food items.
Certified Kosher products with the official letter k inside the circle on labels.”

Yep, quite outrageous! (deep sigh) Though unfortunately, perhaps it’s not so surprising anymore. All the more reason to grow your own foods as much as possible, and know the sources for the foods you choose to purchase or trade for.

Families could convert plastics to use as cooking fuel. And what if every school installed one of these machines in its cafeteria; every community center, church and synagogue were equipped with larger units to convert the community's plastics into gas or diesel? What would the world look like if all the plastic trash was collected and recycled into usable fuel? Imagine...

‎“The machine produced in various sizes, for both industrial and home uses, can easily transform a kilogram of plastic waste into a liter of oil, using about 1 kilowatt of electricity but without emitting CO2 in the process. The machine uses a temperature controlling electric heater instead of flames, processing anything from polyethylene or polystyrene to polypropylene (numbers 2-4). Comment: 1 kg of plastic produces one liter of oil, which costs $1.50. This process uses only about 1 kilowatt of electricity, which costs less than 20 cents!”

It was written primarily for rural populations without medical facilities; in places where there is no doctor. However, for those of us who take self-responsibility for our own informed health care, this handbook is a must have in every home regardless of location – rural homestead or urban jungle.

An excerpt from the introduction explains its premise:

So this book is for everyone who cares. It has been written in the belief that:

1. Health care is not only everyone’s right, but everyone’s responsibility.
2. Informed self-care should be the main goal of any health program or activity.
